Hello HPSD Tigers,
IFM Community Medicine (Hancock Health Clinic) offers a wide range of services for our students, staff, and community members. I encourage you to explore what the clinic provides and consider how it might benefit you and/or your family.

One upcoming opportunity is outlined below, along with an attachment containing additional details:
Kristi has coordinated a mammogram screening event in partnership with Mercy’s Mobile Mammography Van. The van will be parked in front of the Central Office building on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This service is available to district staff, clinic patients, and community members. Mercy requires a minimum of 13 scheduled appointments to confirm the visit and prefers to pre-register patients by phone.

Please review the attached flyer for details, including eligibility and the phone number to reserve your appointment.

Thank you, and we hope this service is helpful to those who may need it.

If you have a child who will be the age of 3 on or before July 31, 2025, and not 5 years old yet, be sure to register them for our preschool program, free to residents and only $450 monthly for non-residents! If you have any questions, please contact our registrar at 314-544-1300, ext. 11070, or lvargas@hpsd.school! We also have low cost before and after care options at a low cost as well for most preschool students. Children are more likely to be prepared for Kindergarten and beyond if they have the opportunity to complete preschool! Feel free to share this with your friends who have children in this age group!

We're thrilled to share our ongoing partnership with The Little Bit Foundation, a collaboration that's making a significant impact on our students' lives. Since 2023, Little Bit has been instrumental in providing essential resources—from clothing and hygiene items to college and career readiness programs—helping our students thrive both inside and outside the classroom . This partnership was recently highlighted on Channel 4's 4YOU Day of Giving, showcasing how community efforts are breaking down barriers to learning. The segment features stories from Hancock Place and other schools benefiting from Little Bit's support. We're proud to be part of a community that values education and student well-being. Thank you to The Little Bit Foundation for your unwavering support! #hpsdtigers https://www.firstalert4.com/video/2025/06/03/4you-day-giving-help-support-little-bit-foundation-wednesday/
